This course will address the basic manufacturing steps and component parts of laminate flooring production, in addition to explaining where laminate should be used and why. The course will also cover the benefits of laminate flooring in multiple settings along with technical elements to be considered such as test methods and sustainability certifications. Additionally, the course will address design and development for laminate flooring styles.

Resinous Floor Coatings Overview

Provides resources to understand resinous floor coating systems.  Topics include: definition of resinous flooring, types of systems, methods for determining which system to specify, methods for substrate preparation, and methods for treating cracks and joints.
Participants will earn one CEU learning unit for AIA,
CES for AIA members.  

Certificates of Completion for both AIA members and non-AIA members are available upon request.

This course provides an overview of vinyl flooring and its manufacturing process, testing standards and performance characteristics. We will review and clarify the environmental impacts of vinyl flooring throughout its lifespan and explain how vinyl can help meet green building standards. 

Participants will earn one CEU learning unit for AIA, IDCEC and USGBC.
